Teal Freenote in Born Museum Exhibit

The spring exhibit at the Born Museum in Second Life includes "Natural Magic" by Teal Freenote.  The exhibit is themed around flowers and birds, and includes RL and SL art, photography and 3D work.

June Is Busy at Gallery Freenote

Again June is a busy month of shows for me.

1) A RL digital fine art piece of mine is featured in the "Art In Bloom" show at the Born Museum of Fine Art. It is a show of RL and SL art inspired by or about flowers.  Stop by and see this beautiful show.

2) My sculpture "Loose Threads" is on display at the University of Western Australia art center in the Imagine Challenge for this month.

3) My Freenote Sculpture Garden on Raglan Commons has expanded.  I can now show 5 or 6 sculptures there at a time.  Visit anytime and enjoy the beautiful garden along with my 3D sculpture works.

 "Waning Sunlight" by Teal Freenote

1)  Art Lovers Ring Member Exhibition at LaStrada Marketplace
May 1 - 18, 2010
A two week show featuring members of the Art Lovers Ring, an unique art tour in SL, opens May 1st and runs through May 18, 2010, in LaStrada Marketplace.  

The Opening party will be Sat. May 1 from 5-7 pm. Music from DJ Jaffee Gaffer followed by fireworks.  I have two brand new pieces in the show. Stop by and say hi and see works from all these wonderful artists.

2) The Imagine Challenge - UWA 3D Art & Design
Vote for me between May 1st and 8th!
One of my sculptures is entered in this month's Imagine Challenge at UWA 3D Art & Design (University of Western Australia).  Aside from the judging there is also a People's Choice award each month.

3)  Fact and Faith Exhibit - I AM Columbia College Chicago

I have two sculptures in the SL group exhibit at I AM Columbia. This is in conjunction with Columbia College Chicago's RL college-wide initiative on the theme of "Fact and Faith", exploring the tension between the need to believe and the need to know in many mediums, examining the concept of truth, what shapes it and how it is expressed. I am honored that my work is featured on the flyer/poster.
