This work has been created for an exhibition at the renovated Vista Hermosa Art Center (VHAC) in SL called "Sketches of Spain". It will be on display there beginning June 2012 for several months.

It was also featured near the main stage on the InWorldz Grid at the InWorldz Dance On- Dance Off Event mid-June to early July 2012. Now moved to the second level of Gallery Freenote InWorldz.

Psst - it moves - its two 2D images and a kinetic sculpture.

Teal Freenote in VHAC show opening June 4th

VHAC show opens June 4th by Teal Freenote

I will have several pieces in the new Bauhaus themed show at the Vista Hermosa Art Center. I have created 3D variations on two of my RL digital fine art works. These two works, SL representations of the RL works, plus my new sculpture "InsideOutsideInfinity"

Many people remember the blockish, modern geometry of the Bauhaus School, but often forget that Klee and Kadinsky were also of the Bauhaus. In 1920, Klee wrote: "'Formerly we used to represent things visible on earth, things we either liked to look at or would have liked to see. Today we reveal the reality that is behind visible things, thus expressing the belief that the visible world is merely an isolated case in relation to the universe and that there are many more other, latent realites..."

The opening is Sat, June 4, 2011.

June Is Busy at Gallery Freenote

Again June is a busy month of shows for me.

1) A RL digital fine art piece of mine is featured in the "Art In Bloom" show at the Born Museum of Fine Art. It is a show of RL and SL art inspired by or about flowers.  Stop by and see this beautiful show.

2) My sculpture "Loose Threads" is on display at the University of Western Australia art center in the Imagine Challenge for this month.

3) My Freenote Sculpture Garden on Raglan Commons has expanded.  I can now show 5 or 6 sculptures there at a time.  Visit anytime and enjoy the beautiful garden along with my 3D sculpture works.

4) I will have work in the Vista Hermosa Art Center's upcoming show "Black & White" - it opens the end of June. More info then. :)
