Teal Freenote in VHAC show opening June 4th

VHAC show opens June 4th by Teal Freenote

I will have several pieces in the new Bauhaus themed show at the Vista Hermosa Art Center. I have created 3D variations on two of my RL digital fine art works. These two works, SL representations of the RL works, plus my new sculpture "InsideOutsideInfinity"

Many people remember the blockish, modern geometry of the Bauhaus School, but often forget that Klee and Kadinsky were also of the Bauhaus. In 1920, Klee wrote: "'Formerly we used to represent things visible on earth, things we either liked to look at or would have liked to see. Today we reveal the reality that is behind visible things, thus expressing the belief that the visible world is merely an isolated case in relation to the universe and that there are many more other, latent realites..."

The opening is Sat, June 4, 2011.

Sculpture 30: "InsideOutsideInfinite"

My newest sculpture is derived from 2 of my related real life flat digital fine art pieces. Only in virtual worlds could I combine the pieces this way in 3D to better illustrate the idea behind it. It will be shown at VHAC gallery in SL beginning in June, as well as in Gallery Freenote on both grids.
