Raglan Shire ArtWalk 2010

For the past 6 weeks I have worked on organizing the Raglan Shire ArtWalk 2010. It opened last Sunday showing the SL and RL work of 106 artists over three sims!  Its an amazing showcase of work by artists in SL. I am really proud of how it came out. Of course, I have 3 sculptures and 14 2D pieces in the show.  The 2D works are displayed in the center of Raglan Shire sim and the sculptures are scattered about the forest on the eastern half of Heron Shire sim. The show runs through Sunday May 30th. Come immerse yourself in this artistic feast :)

I have two sculptures in the SL group exhibit at I AM Columbia. This is in conjunction with Columbia College Chicago's RL college-wide initiative on the theme of "Fact and Faith", exploring the tension between the need to believe and the need to know in many mediums, examining the concept of truth, what shapes it and how it is expressed. I am honored that my work is featured on the flyer/poster.

"Light Dancer" is Featured Exhibit at Gallery Freenote

The current featured exhibit at my Gallery Freenote is "Light Dancer", a large series of abstract and imagistic SL photographs from the works of performance artist Cellandra Zon. The are vibrant, colorful and emotions, as is Cellandra's work. Cellandra creates a unique experience in SL using music, dance, costumes, sets and stunning particle work. Creating my art from her art is such a joy.

This earthy sculpture is a metaphysical evolution from some of the earlier work. Come see it in person. As in all my sculpture, there are details better seen in person. :)
